FFF SORRY FOR THE WAIT. here you go! ♥
schedule part:
7 AM - meditation hour. Students perform qigong exercises to promote the growth and development of qi. This is usually lead by one of the upper level students. *WHO TEACHES THIS USUALLY? ALSO, CAN I GET MORE VOLUNTEERS? 8 AM - Beginner level students. Drilled in basic martial arts forms and the weapon as a staff, this is the class for people who show up on the first day making fists with their thumbs on the inside/expecting to become Jackie Chan overnight. *Zuko teaches this class. 9 AM - Midlevel. These are for people who can get into a horse stance, make a proper fist, maybe know a few basic forms - basically, anyone who has martial arts experience, but no expertise. They're drilled in hand-to-hand basics and the use of staff as a weapon. *Zuko will also teach this class, but can we get some volunteers to take over occasionally? 10 - Weapons. This is for higher level staff, and swordwork. *Umi teaches fencing/swordplay; Zuko will also be teaching swordsmanship and if anyone has twin swords or finds some, he can help you out too. I think Prydain does too? Anyone else want to get in on this? 11 - Advanced class. These kids will kick your ass and have a nice day. One day of the week is devoted to tactics, instead of actual physical fighting, so this is the class for discussion, advanced study, and the art of war. *Zuko can lead this class too, but again, does anyone else teach it? Or would anyone else like to help? Anyone who'd like to help out on the tactics lessons is awesome too! 12 - Sparring. Students of equal skill, or students of skill fairly close, are matched against each other in mock fights. Anyone know what was usually done with this? *Zuko and the other high level students/teachers (Umi, Prydain, Ty Lee, Minato, etc) can oversee this; any other volunteers? 1 - Gymnastics. (more info needed on what goes into this!) *Ty Lee teaches this 2- Monster Avoidance techniques (more info needed on what goes into this!) *Namikaze Minato teaches this 3 and on -- open gym.</lj-cut> If anyone has any changes to make on this or additions, post here with them! ALSO, here's a sign-up for teachers and students! The HS gym is pretty big, so classes can probably be doubled up. What we're looking for is anyone who can fill in some of the above open positions, as well as people to teach different kinds of techniques. This includes (but isn't limited to!): staff fighting, archery, kendo, different types of swordfighting and martial arts. Also, <blink>students!</blink> Can't have classes without students! People are also welcome and invited to drop in at any time -- these classes are informal, not the kind of thing people have to attend every day. We'd just like an idea of who might show up.
