SURVIVAL CLASS SIGN-UP ENGAGE!

Imoen wants to do something more than play music for the masses, as enjoyable as that is. So, she's going to be A TEACHER AT THE SCHOOL.
Everyone's favorite pink-haired thief/mage will be teaching Survival. Survival consists of the following things:
-Usage and construction of basic weaponry: staves, spears, bows
-Identifying edible plants and fungi
-Setting snares
-Shelters and their construction
-Purification of water
-Handling illness in the wilds, and how to identify medicinal plants and fungi
-Hunting for food
-How to preserve food for a long trek
-Preparing animal hides for warm clothing and blankets

We can do some classes IC if enough people are interested. I won't ding no-shows, because RL supercedes the game :) As many people can play at a time as they want.
After the completion of the class, the characters who took it can make a note in their profile stating that they now have basic knowledge of survival. This doesn't mean they can rush out into the forest and godmod all over the place about how they are Grizzly Adams or something (not that any of the players would do that, mind you ^_~), but it does mean that they won't die the first day they get stuck outside of the city.

Also remember, pratice makes perfect. With enough practice outside of class, characters could learn to tan leather, to be herbalists, or even join the hunter groups.

Please fill out the following form thing, and their level of knowledge. They follow like this:
-BEGINNER: They have never had to stay outside. Maybe they visited a forest once, on vacation.

-NOVICE: They've been camping a few times, maybe went hunting or fishing with someone. They can set up a tent, clean an animal, etc.

-ADEPT: These guys know what they're doing. Years of Boy Scouts training, or maybe some beginning military training, perhaps they just really loved nature before they came to Discedo. They can be trusted to know what's going on if a Master-level isn't available.

-MASTER: You really just can't get better than this. Years upon years of trekking through the forest, an adventurer, maybe a ranger. Perhaps the character has lived in the forest or mountains or desert for nearly decades or beyond. They know what they're doing, and could write books upon books about their knowledge.

-GRAND-MASTER: Why are you taking this class? You should be teaching it. You are nature, and nature is you. You are one with all around you, and animals walk up to you to nuzzle your hand. Dragonflies flit about you, and butterflies land on your hair.
