✗ Personal Unions. Actually, I think it depends. the Austro-Hungarian Empire seems like a marriage I mean that's what they refer to it is. The Commonwealth was not a marriage but they lived together. Then we have the Austrian Anschluss, for example, which is something canon did touch upon. Apparently, "The word Anschluss outside the context of March 1938 is properly translated as "joinder", "connection", "unification" or "political union"" and not just annexation. Germany goes and tells Austria he's annexing/unifying/whatever, but this just kind of ends up with Austria telling Germany to get tea, etc, like a horrible house guest. Finally, as Exhibit (what are we up to) D? we have German Unification. AND I PROMISE IT'S NOT A MARRIAGE. Because. aflkdjfkds. It's not marriage. My headcanon has Prussia chilling at Germany's house but that's another headcanon story.
✗ INVASIONS. I see no way that invasions could be rape, especially since canonically Germany tells Austria - during World War II or somewhere thereabouts as far as I can tell? - during the Valentine's Day comic that he "wouldn't have known what to do with a woman" the implication there being not only about the woman, but also about men because he grabs Austria's arm and is like "Austria, you're a guy..." (Okay the Valentine's Day comic is on total crack) but I think the point I'm trying to make is that makes Germany canonically a virgin in my headcanon prior (or after depending on the interpretation of the comic) to that comic, which I tend to file during World War II in my brain meaning that World War I would have happened and he basically invaded a bunch of people in the first time around, and committed acts including "The Rape of Belgium" (......I can't make this stuff up. I wouldn't want to I swear it's called that) in 1914 and so if invasions were really rape, then. well. He would've known what to do with a woman.
✗ UNICORNS. I have nothing about this, actually, so moving on.
✗ HUMAN NAMES. I'm not a fan of the human names at all, actually. It seems to me that they seemed to be originally there so it was less awkward to write. But contextually I imagine they'd probably be used in a "for ease of use" cover kind of a thing? Or going around their country trying not to be called out or anything like that. I imagine it's fairly common knowledge but not necessarily. It could be something they just use and don't find a need to tell anyone else.
